CALL FOR ENTRY

Start Gallery will hosting “The Perfect Gift: Detroit on Display”. Detroit as the theme of the art. We welcome all artists with a love for Detroit to represent our fine city in thier own way for the walls of a future buyer. All sizes and price ranges will be accepted and smaller(gift size art is preferred) as it is the holiday shopping season.

Work Media: Paintings, Sculpture, Prints, Multimedia, Video, Installation

Work Size:5’X9’

Entry Requirements: Art must fit through a regular size door.

Please send the following for consideration in be included in the exhibit:

1. 3-5 Images, digital images emailed to startdetroit@gmail.com

Images should be JPEG format, 300 dpi

2.Artist Resume including biography, educational background, and exhibition

record(not mandatory).

Entries Due:November 10th 5pm

Selection Process: 2 Person commitee will jury the recieved art.

Artists will be notified by email by if they are accepted.

Accepted Artwork:

All artwork must be for sale.

All artwork must come ready to hang with all hardware installed.

Registration fee of $10 will be due Nov 17 for accepted artists.

All artwork must remain on display until the end of the exhibit.

Gallery retains 40% commission on displayed art, 50% on items sold in our retail store.

Delivery: Delivery of accepted pieces must arrive to the gallery no later than November 15th.

Art drop days will be communicated to you if you are accepted

Exhibit Ends: December 17, 1am.

Pickup Artwork by:12pm Dec 21st.
